Dedicated to Improving the Careers of Cable Telecommunications Professionals.

The SCTE Foundation, established by the SCTE Board of Directors in 2005, is a standalone organization dedicated to enhancing the careers of broadband connectivity professionals, especially those who are unserved and underserved. We believe in the power of community; through grants, scholarships, and programs, we aim to uplift individuals and companies who lack access to vital resources. While maintaining our independence, we leverage training from SCTE and other organizations to support our grantees.

“The support my family received as we were working through storm restoration at home and I in the field, kept generators going at my home until our power was finally restored. Knowing my family was safe with charged phones and means of communication, it gave me the extra feeling of security I needed to put in the extra hours and focus getting our network restored for the community.”

~ Michael, Construction Specialist

“I was extremely excited and honored to have been granted the SCTE scholarship, I had a strong desire to be able to seek my next level certification. Having attained PMI’s Project Management Professional certification had been a goal and focus, for the past five years; SCTE’s blessing granted me this opportunity!”
