Set against the stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, the inaugural SCTE Foundation Western Broadband Classic brought together broadband industry leaders, innovators, and partners for a premier day of golf, networking, and philanthropy. Inspired by the longstanding success of the Tom Polis Classic, the Western Broadband Classic expanded the Foundation’s fundraising reach to the western region—and its successful first year demonstrated the incredible support and generosity of the broadband community. With strong support from SCTE, industry sponsors, partners, and participants, the event established an exciting new tradition while advancing the Foundation’s commitment to supporting the people, programs, and communities that power the future of broadband.

The Tom Polis Classic Golf Tournament remembers Tom and the legacy that he left behind. It reminds us of our commitment to think of others and to help them grow in their professional development in the cable telecommunications industry. The proceeds from the Tom Polis Classic support and promote the educational assistance and career development of SCTE members through the SCTE Foundation grants and scholarship programs.
