All of the financial assistance that the SCTE Foundation provides is made possible through donations from within the industry. The SCTE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization and contributions are tax-deductible as allowable by law.
The United States Internal Revenue Service has determined that the Foundation is exempt from United States Federal Income Tax as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and that the Foundation is not a private foundation for federal tax purposes. Accordingly, donations, bequests, and grants made to the Foundation shall be utilized pursuant to policies established by the SCTE Foundation Board of Directors.
Annual Audit
The fiscal year of the Foundation is July 1 to June 30. SCTE staff, through consultation with the Foundation Finance Committee, arrange an audit of the Foundation’s financial statements by an independent auditing firm approved by the Foundation’s Board.
Audited Financial Statements
Audited Foundation financial statements are made available, annually, by the Foundation Treasurer to all members of the Foundation Board of Directors.
