Tom Polis Classic Golf Tournament
Tom Polis was an inspirational leader and true pioneer in the cable telecommunications industry. Through his deep commitment to the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), a subsidiary of CableLabs, and his service as President and Board member during its early years, Tom helped shape the organization’s foundation and advance its mission of professional development, certification, information, and standards.
The Tom Polis Classic honors his legacy and the values he championed — investing in others and strengthening our industry through education and growth. Proceeds from the tournament directly support SCTE Foundation grants and scholarship programs, advancing the educational and career development of SCTE members.
This annual event brings together industry leaders and professionals for a day of friendly competition, meaningful connection, and giving back. The 2026 Tom Polis Classic will be held on June 15th, 2026, at Commonwealth National Golf Club. The tournament features an Arnold Palmer Signature 18-hole course, engaging on-course contests, and valuable networking opportunities.
